TAX DEADLINES - NOT A TRICK OR TREAT - 👺
It's not a trick and it's not a treat ~ here are the tax deadlines for October 2019:
April 15th Extensions: October 15th deadline
Did you extend your taxes on April 15, 2019 by filing a Form 4868 (Application for Automatic Extension of Time)? If so, the deadline to now complete and file your taxes for 2018 is October 15th which makes that date as important as the April 15th date. For many tax preparers, we are just as busy working on this deadline as the April 15th deadline.
Business Extension Tax Deadline
If you are a C Corp, then your business extension tax deadline is also October 15th.
3rd Quarter Payroll: October 31st deadline
Employers have an important tax deadline October 31st - 3rd quarter payroll reports and Form 941 (Employer's QUARTERLY Federal Tax Return) are due.
"Generally, employers must report wages, tips and other compensation paid to an employee by filing the required form(s) to the IRS. You must also report on the taxes you deposit."
If you can get ahead of the curve, then you can celebrate on Halloween!
